Chain and Shoe Theft

Overview

  • Chain snatching and shoe theft are both active player-to-player routes.
  • Police, State Police, and LSSO are not blocked from using the theft interactions.
  • The interactions run directly between players rather than through a fixed contact or shop.

Required

  • The robber must have a gun in hand for either route.
  • The victim does not need to have their hands up.
  • A chain target must be wearing a chain; a shoe target must not be barefoot.

Usage

Stolen accessories use the chain and shoes inventory items with clothing metadata.

Chain snatching

  • Target another player's equipped chain while holding a gun.
  • Complete an easy skill check using W, A, S, or D.

Shoe theft

  • Target another player's equipped shoes while holding a gun.
  • This route has no skill check.
